A big part of this year's tour is the opportunity to present programs in many school's where we perform. It makes the day a bit longer for us but it is well worth it to meet students in the area we travel. We find the students very eager to hear the harp and enjoy listening to Katherine's voice, especially when Katherine sings out her highest, loudest notes in Phantom of the Opera. The kids eyes become like saucers!
I real treat for us in Sandersville was when our good friends Bill and Penny Rothrock from Jonesboro, Georgia showed up at the concert. They hope to be full-time "RVer's" and brought their trailer to Sandersville for us to see. I mentioned that I never had a problem with envy except for harps. Now I have a problem with RV's! We visited them at their campsite after the concert for cookies and hot c
hocolate.
The following morning on our way out of town, we presented a program for the middle school.
We headed off to Alabama and to Cullman. We have never been to Alabama before and loved it all.

We had an opportunity to be on a local cable station in Cullman in the morning of our concert. I mentioned that I never had a problem with envy except for harps. Now I have a problem with TV stations! I would love to have my own TV station. I could gladly fill the roll of Wayne's World in real life.

We had the joy of sharing our music for the elementary students of St Peters School in the morning and then we were given a tour of "Our Lady of the Angel Monastery in Hanceville, AL a short distance from Cullman by our hosts George and Danny after having a tasty lunch in town. The monestary is nothing short of phenomenal. GO THERE!!!
The concert was held at Wallace State Community College to a very nice crowd.
